Latest Publications
So far, 2025 has been a busy—and productive—year. Two online workshops and a winter getaway weekend with Stockton University’s Murphy Writing program and three online workshops with Contemplate Creative have provided a much-needed “kick in the pants” to my production. And, all with that writing, more publications to report:
In early March, the print journal The Amphibian Literary and Art Journal published two of my poems: “Ignition” and “Mariposa” in both their print and online editions of Issue 8, “Metamorphosis.”
“The Honey King,” appears on page 53 of Last Leaves Magazine, Issue 10, published in April.
At the end of April, “To the Thrift” was published online by The Loch Raven Review.
My poem “Husbandry” appears in issue 201 of RFD Magazine, the fourth time that work of mine has appeared in this venerable publication.
Book of Matches published my little song, “Little Song,” in Issue 14 at the beginning of May.
Moss Piglet published two more of my poems: “Concertina Song,” in their “Musical Instruments” issue in May, and “Tulips,”in their June issue, “Gardens.”
At the beginning of July, my delirious poem, “Ghazal Warren,” was picked up by Viridine Literary in their third issue, “Identity.”
That same week, the online edition of Paddler Press published their Volume 14, “Canada,” including my bit of memoir, “Bookend,” about a little brass statuette my father carried all his life all the way from Newfoundland to Florida.
On July 16, The Winged Moon Literary Magazine republished my sonnet “Cloak of Night” on their Substack blog. “Cloak of Night originally appeared in print in Capsule Stories.
In addition to these ten pieces finding their way to publication this spring and summer, I find myself in the new—for me—position of having another ten pieces accepted and in the pipeline for publication this autumn and winter.
It feels like my writing’s taking flight!
